Welcome
Dogwood Lane Horse Sanctuary is a private
organization dedicated to helping abused and
neglected horses, providing them with a lasting
home to live out the rest of their lives.
Nestled deep within the Ozark Mountains, Dogwood
Lane offers horses a nurturing place to recover from
their ordeals while affording them a safe and stable
environment from which their true personalities are
able to shine.
Unfortunately, due to financial constraints the number of horses we can save
is limited since almost all Dogwood Lane Horse Sanctuary funds come
directly from our own pockets. Won’t you save a horse and support
Dogwood Lane Horse Sanctuary by contributing your financial gift here or
by selecting a horse to sponsor today?
It takes a lot of energy, time, and patience to bring these horses back from
the brink. As the horses heal, from both physical and mental ailments, they
in turn are able to provide valuable healing therapy to fellow horses and
amazingly, people too. As a result of this wonderful gift, a strengthened
support structure is generated, creating a more united and stronger equine
family. For example, a horse actively working with a person in need will
likewise receive support from the horse community, allowing for further
healing for all involved.
Volunteers are needed, become a volunteer today.
What an amazing journey to be able to facilitate the mutual healing of both
horse and man.
